Today in chapel, we presented our annual “Valentine for Kampala” project. For many years now, L.W.C.S. has supported a Christian school and orphanage in Kampala, Uganda. The students have brought in donations to help with food, books, living quarters and recently a new cafeteria. Last year the students brought in $2,000.00. What a blessing! We are asking each student to bring in a donation so we can send it to these precious children in Kampala. Ask your child what they saw in Chapel today and it will touch your heart. We will only collect donations until next Tuesday, February 14, at which time we will have a special assembly at 8:10 A.M.

The top three (3) classes in the school with the highest (average per student) total will have a cookout and kickball game.

Registration Packets for the 2012-2013 School Year will be available for pickup in each office beginning Monday, February 13.

~We have petitioned the city for permission to pave another access out of the school onto Gum Branch.
~Construction of the gymnasium to begin soon so that we will have it ready for next year’s sports program.

REMINDERS: ~We are collecting Boxtops for Education. Drop-off boxes are available in each building ~Nachos: Every 2nd Tuesday of each month (Feb. 14) and must be purchased by the Monday prior (Feb. 13)
$2.00 (Jalapeños $.50 extra). All proceeds go to support our Sports’ Program.
